Why flat
Most photo apps bill per person, so every hire raises the bill — and every owner is then tempted to share one login, which destroys the record of who did what. The whole point of this product is that every photo carries a name.
FieldLog is flat inside each band: add a technician, the bill doesn't move. The comparison columns are illustrative at common per-seat price points rather than quotes from any particular vendor — check anyone's current pricing directly.

Anyone who takes photographs in the app: technicians, apprentices, you. Office people who only read and send reports are free and never count — three of them on every paid band.
Nothing breaks, and nothing changes on your bill without you. The office shows you the new band, the exact pro-rata amount and the renewal date, and you press a button. We will never quietly move you up and tell you afterwards — raising a recurring bill without an explicit yes is the thing this product refuses to do.
Not yet. The field app — where technicians capture photographs and file reports — is invite-only and isn't public. The office side is live now: jobs, customers, quotes, invoices, scheduling and customer reports. Mail us and we'll tell you the moment your crew can install it.
Any time, without asking us first. Every report has a PDF and a share link, a job's photographs come out as a ZIP with their stamps intact, and invoices export as a CSV in Xero and QuickBooks' own import layout. It is your evidence, and it is not a hostage.
Free exists so you can prove FieldLog on real jobs before paying, not so a business can run on it. Five filed reports a month is enough to test it properly. The limit applies when you start a report — never to work already captured on a phone.
