Terms of Service

Effective date: 9 August 2026

1. The agreement

These terms are between FieldLog (AT WORK Inc, "we") and the company that creates an account ("you"). By creating an account or using FieldLog you agree to them. If you add technicians or office users, you're responsible for their use of the account.

2. The service

FieldLog captures job photos with time and date stamps and records GPS on the report, organizes everything by job, and generates branded PDF reports you can send to your customers. We'll run it with reasonable skill and care. We may improve or change features over time; we won't remove core functionality you're paying for without notice.

3. Accounts and seats

4. Billing

5. Your content

6. Retention — what happens to your records

7. What the records are — and aren't

FieldLog produces a contemporaneous record: photos stamped with the time and date they were taken, and the location reported by the capturing device recorded on the report. Stamps are only as accurate as the device's clock, and the location only as accurate as its GPS. FieldLog is a record-keeping tool, not legal advice, and no outcome of any dispute, claim, chargeback, or proceeding is guaranteed. Whether a record is sufficient for any particular purpose is for you (and, where it matters, your lawyer) to judge.

8. Acceptable use

Don't use FieldLog to break the law, to capture content you have no right to capture, to harass or surveil people, to attempt to falsify records, or to probe or disrupt the service. We can suspend accounts for serious violations; where reasonable, we'll warn you first.

9. Disclaimers and liability

FieldLog is provided "as is." We don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, though we work to keep it both. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and neither of us is liable to the other for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited.

Your content, your responsibility. You keep us harmless from claims brought by a third party — your customer, a property owner, a person who appears in a photograph — that arise from the job content you upload or from how you use the reports you produce. That is not us disclaiming our own failures: it covers what you photograph, what you write, and who you send it to, all of which only you control. If such a claim arrives we will tell you promptly, let you run the defence, and not settle it without asking you.

What FieldLog is not. It is a record-keeping tool. It is not legal advice, not an inspection or certification service, and not a substitute for whatever licensing, permitting or safety obligations apply to your trade. A report proves what was captured and when; it does not certify that the work was correct.

10. Termination

You can stop using FieldLog and cancel at any time. We can terminate for material breach of these terms with notice. On any termination, §6 (retention) governs your content.

11. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. If we change these terms materially, we'll notify you by email or in the app at least 30 days before the change applies; continued use after that is acceptance.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our not enforcing something straight away is not us giving it up. These terms, together with the privacy policy and the refunds policy, are the whole agreement between us. Neither of us is responsible for a failure caused by something outside our reasonable control.
